Not only have I seen them, I've actually used and sold them. They are aluminum, so they are light, and since the ring and base is one piece very sleek. The front base/ring can be reversed to accommodate the scope tube length. They work fine. BTW, the Talley is a copy of the Redefield, since 40 years ago there was no Talley. I think Williams also had a similar design back in the day.
