I think taking the ammo and components will be first. ========= In violation of Heller and McDonald? Have to disagree. If ammo is confiscated by agency XYZ and the owner files a complaint the case can eventually (potentially) end up in front of the SCOTUS. In the meantime, how many Judges might be replaced within the next 2 or 3 years? who has the ability to name Judges? Will BHO be more apt to name stolid constitutional conservatives or "progressives"? If the case is upheld, that would in effect negate the original INTENT of theruling on H & McD, no? My worry is not so much in overturning the 2A, but in subverting it by having a more modern court revisit the issue. Its not so much if its legal or right, but if it can be done. So, can it?

TRH.You get away from Austin and Texas is Texas.Dallas and Houston have big city folks in them along with many real Texans.Every place you go down here is all Texas. That's good to hear. I think some folks are taking what I said too much to heart. It was sort of a truism that you have to think about a little to understand what I meant. Why doesn't the OP article also address the fact that 67 Senators have to ratify the treaty for it to become the law of this land.
They'll "deem" it now ratified. Remember your question regarding the Obamacare analogy?????

They'll "deem" it now ratified. Remember your question regarding the Obamacare analogy????? They played parliamentary dirty pool to pass Obominationcare, and they had to have the House to do it; they don't have the House and they don't have 67 Senators who would ratify such a treaty.

Yeah. so lets say in a particular case, SCOTUS says it was illegal for law enforcement to seize person A's ammo?
Now, the day after the opinion is released, The cops go off and seize person B's ammo.
What does "B" do? Write a strenuous letter of complaint to Ginsberg?

Not "own" any guns. Keep a beater .22 and a few boxes of ammo, and give it over. They can't prove that I have any of the guns that I have bought new, only that I bought them.
