Friday night I was in NW PA at our cabin and heard a noise outside unlike anything I have heard in the woods before...almost like someone dry-heaving, but at a very high pitch (I can't explain it any other way!) I turned on the spot-lights and got two yellow/orange eyes peering back at me and then more of the dry heaves. The next morning I found 6 splotches of feces on a game trail that cuts from the field next to us, through some pines, and then across our property. The splotches were spread over about 5 feet or so all in a line. Pictures are below. I am not a coyote hunter and have rarely seen them in our area, but I suspect they are there. Is this coyote crap and is the dry-heaving typical?

Looks to me more like bear than coyote. Never seen coyote crap look quite like that.
The Mayans had it right. If youre going to predict the future, its best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.

Sorry it was me, rough day... LOL
Not sure what that is, it looks like cow fodder after they eat white oak acorns.

Whatever it is.....cover it up. You don't want to track that into your cabin.....or have a dog roll in it.

This is black bear scat. This is coyote scat.
There is room for all of God's creatures....right next to the mashed potatoes.
