Anyone use or has tried this one for deer? shoots well out of both my .243's...behind a heavy dose of IMR 4350....

Remember reading somewhere tha Speer designed it as a deer bullet. So I used it on quite a few Hill Country does back in the 80's. Worked well, never had a complaint.

I see no reason that wouldn't be a great deer load used 87 Gr Hornady interloc's myself and they are deadly with the same powder.

They're a hunting bullet, just looked them up on Speer's site, that's the first listed use for it, start filling your freezer.

I killed deer and antelope with this bullet out of a 243 win with IMR 4831, did a really good job.
