anyone have one of these? they got got a good deal on them at a sporting goods store nearby....thinking bout buying one so i can hunt during muzzleloader season...is it a decent single shot rifle?

nice!! i dont know much about these...i know u can use the 35 whelen for primitive weapon season....can u use that 223 setup as well ? im from MS

CVAs are nice little rifle, but Im sure the recoil from a 35 Whelen would be fierce.

probably not. The dang things weigh a ton. That is a FAT barrel.

I think that it has to be a 35 caliber and up to use during the blackpowder season.

yea my friend has one...cva elite stalker .35 whelen..its legal here in MS .... ive just never shot one ...he says it kicks a little harder than a 270 but not too bad
