These last few pages have been a pleasure to read and look at.

That's cool!
Good luck with the muzzle stuffers! I'm headed home to go hunting on Thanksgiving morning...missed opener for the first time in a LONG time...maybe ever.
Have only a few days to go, so I'd better make it work!
I'd rather have a bad day hunting than a good day working!

Tom you should come up for black powder.
Heck, half your stuff is already up here lol!
There's a nice heavy brown sleeping bag in the boys room, we figured that was maybe yours too??
True it is mostly there...I can' come up for muzzy season, I have to work weekends again. I left that bag there on purpose. It can stay if youse guys give the OK.

My bear cub is one year old today. We had his birthday party yesterday. Lots of fun toys but this was my favorite.

I just happen to be turning one on Wednesday, you don't have to make a plaque for mine. But a decent padded hard case would be nice.

I probably never told the story here but the bus in my avatar was bought for him. It got delivered a few weeks before he was. I wasn't even sure if we were having a boy or girl but I was sure that he/she needed a snowbus.
He'll have a good head start on track rigs by the time he can drive in a few more years.
And yes I built the cake myself. I have a competitave streak in me.

If you have to take a second shot then you probably shouldn't have taken the first shot.

Gotta buy that rifle for him now, goalie! haha! Well, I picked up one of those 3-9x40 Conquest scopes for "his" rifle when Cabelas had them for 299, minus 20 dollar coupon, plus free shipping. It's a start I guess.....

That Citori was way above my pay grade but I wanted something he could have with him for his entire life. There will be lots of opportunities for the little single shot 22's & .410's etc. down the road. Outdoors and guns are a huge part of my life and I want Ben to enjoy that opportunity if he chooses. I don't remember my first gun but I wish that I did so I still had it to pass on. That was the whole idea of a finer gun that "should" last his lifetime to do with it as he pleases. I'm sure his "first gun" that he shoots will have .177" projectiles! I might have to hock that old junky M54 in 220 Swift to pay my credit card bill! hahaha

Just wait for the credit card bill on the tank w/flame thrower system that you'll have to install.
At least he'll be able to kill it and grill it all in one shot.

It was a great hunting season for me eventhough I didn't shoot anything up nort. It is good times with friends and family. Although I must be getting old, obviously can't stay up as long as I used to. Time went way too fast. Dad was very suprised about the truck. Heck I was too, didn't know it was being worked on till Wednesday. Looks awesome!! Guess I should have stayed out at the stand till 10 PM & I may have shot that buck. Bushy, I had a stash of quarters with me every weekend, but you never showed up to win it back.
I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.
