Between this and your lion, I think it might be time for you to find another hobbby to win. 2012 is going to be a hard year to follow. Go ahead, get the wolf and buy a set of golf clubs. You have no idea how bad I want to get a wolf. I seem to be the only hunter in Flathead Co. that doesn't see them. But yes, it would sure top things off, from the toad of a spring bear, and the lion, getting the MT predator "trifecta" in one season would be cool!

That is an amazing bull! I love it when a regular guy (you seem pretty regular) goes out on public land, within reasonable access of a "parking lot??" and has a successful hunt. Not just once, but again and again. There is a lesson to be learned .
We have a spot like yours. This year at noon on opening day, 5 "hunters" on quad runners came by our camp on their way out. They informed us that the elk were gone and that we were wasting our time. They were wrong.
Congrats on a great hunt, and many more to come.
