Mathews Convertable HD set up as a drop away. Zero problems and highly accurate! I love it!!

I have been using a Trophy ridge "Drop Zone" drop away rest for a couple of years now and love it. No problems and true arrow flight.

This year I bought a new switchback and I've tried the Whisker Biscuit (not bad, just magnified and flaws in my shooting), then I bought the Mathews Convertible rest (my vanes kept hitting the prongs, the solution I was told was to cut the prongs down), I also tried the Trophy Ridge Drop Zone (for no good reason I just didn't care for this one at all) and finally I tried the Vital Bow Gear Ultimate Fall Away - I love this one, it holds the arrow until the bow is drawn with a little rubber hook, when the bow is drawn it releases the arrow. If you let down, it grabs the arrow again. To me this offered the best of both worlds.

I use the Trap Door rest on my bow. There is no connection for the drop mechanism it's controlled by magnets and the recoil from the bow drops the rest. Its pretty accurate. The only down side is while hunting there is no way to keep your arrow on the rest. Guess Ill have to build something. You know how it is if you want something done right you have to do it yourself or modify what you have.

I use a "dropzone". It has worked well, no problems with it. It is the only drop away I have tried.

I don't know if either is "quicker". The trophy taker rotates away from the arrow, the dropzone drops straight down supposedly getting out of the way sooner. People seem to be happy with either of them or the one by NAP. I bought the DZ because that was what my local shop had.
