I completely understand and respect your points of view....mine is different

I have a judge and have shot it numerous times with .45LC as well as several different types of .410

with the short barrel of the public defender, I do not expect it to perform out to 20 or 30 yards, however, it does VERY well at closer ranges....I have killed several annoying tree rats and a few armadillos from the stand with it

Also, I have patterned Remington's 00 buck and winchester's PDX1 and both pattern superb at self defense range....in fact, I would imagine both would be far more devastating in a single shot than most self defense calibers

I have had ZERO failures to fire in SA and DA....no malfunctions whatsoever

I did not but this gun for CC...I bought it for my trips in the field and so far, it has served its purpose well

The Governor was made as a 28 Gauge supposedly with guns made and ready to go and ostensibly with ATF watching. At the last minute the ATF wouldn't let them. They claimed there was no corresponding centerfire caliber as in the 45 Colt with the 410.

Any one who ones one care to reflect on how practical they are to use ?

Will it shoot 410 slugs, and is there any acuracy with them?
