I am a younger person, and i've already ruled out all .30 cals because I feel a lot of powder doesn't make an accurate round. I was thinking a .270 WSM or a 7mm (SM, or SAUM). Caliber availability isn't a big deal because I reload my own rounds. I'm looking for the perfect balance of recoil, range, accuracy, and if all possible, ethical for most NA game excluding bears (I'm too young to be eaten alive). The 6.5x47 lapua highly interests me, but I don't feel that it is enough for elk, but by the time I go elk hunting I will most likely be shooting well under 1 moa for I live nowhere near elk, so my shot placement might have to be picky but possibly good enough. I've also been told about a B-29 caliber but I know nothing about it, so if you know any information about that it would be greatly appreciated. I need some wisdom from all you guys out there, so your input would be greatly appreciated.
