Mostly taxi market? I bet it's hard to get those graded at the fur houses since they are all so different. Definitely cool looking though, would love to get out there someday and get a couple oddballs.

I don't sell any of my fur. I am making three king size blankets. One silver fox, one cross, and one red. I have had a few rugs done and a few hang ups.. My trapping partner will be taking the extras once my orders are filled.

Sweet! I am going to get a blanket made from a pile of otter once I get them all put up and shipped out. A blanket out of these fox would be awesome!

Moyles will do the tanning and I am unsure who will sew it up. I have a guy in Idaho that was recommended to me but I haven't contacted him in a while. I do know one thing, it won't be USAFOXX!

LOL! I hate to admit it but I have my stuff done at USAFOXX only because I grew up in the area and I know the owner. I haven't had any horror stories like so many I have read of. I seem to get the red carpet treatment there...

You are the lucky one then. My trapping partner and I sent in some nice dark (almost black) beaver to have some stuff made up and we were disappointed when we got them back. The fur on my things were red! Clearly not the same fur we sent them. My partner had them make gauntlets and asked that they be extended about 5", they said no problem. When he got them they were plain old mittens. He sent them plenty of fur, more than was necessary.
I'm glad they are treating you right though, at least they aren't screwing everyone.

Travis There are a metric ton of snowshoe hares here, as well as lots of goodies washing in from the sea. All the fox here were brought in from the Russians a long time ago as a free range fox farm. Many of the other islands around here have fox like this. They are doing quite well as you can see
