I have 5 Mod 37 Remingtons and they are my most accurate 22rimfires, but they are a little spendy for a plinker and not a walk around rifle. They shoot noticeably than my 40X RF.

Today, I purchased a winnie 67 in 22LR in very good condition. Paid 100.00 bucks at Shooter's Paradise. Single shot with 27" barrel. A good learning or plinking rifle. Good old used rifles are better built.

I like the Ruger 77/22 Target model. They are about as close to full-size as I've ever had with a rimfire.

I've been enjoying this Savage/Anschutz M54 sporter; it has a full size, high comb type stock:

Browning BL-22. Doesn't everyone hunt with a lever action centerfire when they grow up?

Ruger 77 VBZ in 22 LR as a stand-in for a real bolt gun.

Ruger #1B 22 Hornet to train for larger caliber #1s.

When I was looking for a nice 22 bolt gun for practice, I found a really clean Mossberg US44 trainer in a gun shop for $260. It has high quality peep sights, and is really nice to shoot. Very accurate!

Not only that, but it's essentially the same gun that I learned on at Boy Scout camp when I was about 13.
