I agree with the others here. I've had an R93 an now a K95; both have the same scope mounting set-up as the newer R8. Your scope once sighted in with one barrel may be able to be taken off and then put back on the same barrel with good repeatability, but not so if then used with a differently chambered barrel.
If you don't mind the re-zeroing with your other barrel, fine, but if so, your best bet is to buy another Blaser ring/base set and another scope...for Christmas!
