I can vaguely remember Sky King, but I was real little when it was on, and those might have been re-runs (we got our live TV news three days late). Rin Tin Tin, Lassie, all the usual suspects they show on ME TV, and all that. I remember Sea Hunt, Highway Patrol, and 12 O'clock High, Combat, and some of the westerns, too, but they were SO bad I'm trying to forget most of them.

One of my favorite shows to watch as a kid was Emergency.

Edit to add-I really liked Baa, Baa Black Sheep, too. About 20 years ago I acquired a paperback copy of Boyington's book; still have it, too.

Every Saturday morning I'd watch 'VICTORY AT SEA' at my best friend's house.

Still, a great series.

Adam 12, Emergency, Baa Baa Blacksheep. When I explained to my kids we only got one channel so if you wanted to watch T.V. you watched whatever was on, they can't believe it. I like baseball so it was always the game of the week on Saturday afternoon. Saturday Night at the Movies, and on Sunday-Wonderful World of Disney.

Lash Larue was a cowboy whose gimmick (they mostly all did in those days0 was a bullwhip. In the later 1950s, LaRue was featured in archival footage numerous times on the children's program, The Gabby Hayes Show. He appeared several times too on the syndicated television series 26 Men, true stories of the Arizona Rangers.

Boston Blackie Kent Taylor starred in the Ziv-produced half-hour TV series The Adventures of Boston Blackie. Syndicated in 1951, it ran for 58 episodes, continuing in repeats over the following decade. Lois Collier appeared as the inevitable love interest and Frank Orth as the perpetually exasperated Lt. Farraday. This time, Blackie was set in Los Angeles, and the character enjoyed the use of several exotic sports cars as he battled on behalf of those who have no friends. Whitey was the precocious dog. Among the series' guest stars were veteran film actors Roscoe Ates, Russ Conway and John M. Pickard.

Captain Kangaroo
Dianah Shore (under protest - I despised variety shows with a passion, but Dad had a crush on her, but not enough to be soley a "See the U.S.A. in Your Chevrolet" man.
Wagon Train
Mid-day Meditations (because it was on before the noon cartoons)
Bonanza when it came along
The Rifleman
The Virginian
Combat
Beanie and Cecil
The Donna Reed Show
Rat Patrol
Disney (costantly waiting for a good cartoon episode and practically always being disappointed - especially when it was Zorro)
Mitch Miller
Bob Newhart
