Winky I can't help you on the Eye-tie recipes. Not my favorite type of food so haven't done much with it. Now if this wasn't a family type forum I would tell you what you can DO with that lutefisk. [Linked Image]

Bog man,I know what to do with lutefisk and it would probably get me tossed in the pokey.
I was married to an Itilian gal for 15 years, and she could never cook, couldn't boil water with out burning it.
You always knew when dinner as nearly done all the smoke alarms would go off in the house. I did nearly all the cooking and dish washing. Got a great gal now been together 14 years and she is a fair cook. But won't eat fish. Go figgure. Me, I can live on fish and it dosn't always have to be cooked so long as it comes out of cold salt water from the North Pacific.

I grew up in Astoria OR, and I'll never forget the "delicate fragrance of lutefisk wafting over the neighborhood in the evening hours". I keep trying and trying but I can't forget it! [Linked Image]
Looks like groundfish is going to get a little harder to come by,as they've pretty much shut down the commercial and sports fisherman. We commercial fished out of Astoria and Westport WA for years, got out of it when they started using the rollernets, could'nt compete. Those guys could scoop up in less than a day what we'd catch in a week.Course they destroyed the reefs to do it.
