Why? Cause it doesn't have a high BC number? I bet it kills better and faster than either a partiton or a Barnes on average.

If they're more affordable than the Partition or TSX line, they'll sell like crazy. Think about the number or 223 (or 5.56) shooters today compared to 5 years ago. The AR boom has generated a huge and still growing market.

I'm really surprised Nosler, Speer or Hornady hasn't released a bonded bullet available as a component sooner. The Speer DeepCurl is available for around $20ish per hundred in the 90gr 244 bullet -- if you can find them in stock.

If Nosler does the same thing and keeps retail under $25 per hundred, finding stock will be difficult.

I agree, if they are priced properly they will sell well. I'm hoping for this style to be made in bigger calibers with a protected point style it would be a great chance for Nosler to introduce heavyweight bullets in a given caliber. I would be happy with some 6.5mm 150 gr, 270 160 gr and 358 250-275gr bullets.

I see it as another option. The more options we have all the better no?

I would love to see these dominate some Texas pork.

I would love to see that bullet in a 150 or 160 gr. 6.5mm at a price point at or around the BTs

Now THAT is a bullet I can get behind if released in a 30cal.

Are these 64's similar the BSB that Shooters Pro Shop has from time to time?

I'd love a good hunting bullet like this for the 6x45s in my safe. I'm looking at the 80 gr Speer Deep Curls, currently.

About the closest is the 140 Deep Curl, the DC has shot good in two different WSM's that I own.

On the bonded 64, I had terrible luck with Power Points in two different rifles. I was bummed because they have a good reputation. Maybe the bonded 64 will shoot better.

There you go with that frontal area theory again laugh

No sure about killing better than a Partition. Maybe in a .224" Maybe not.

Will certainly open more consistently than the Barnes though.

Will they shoot well in a 14 twist 22-250?

I've got one I'm itching to try for deer hunting.

Me too. To my knowledge, they've not released any yet. I'm on Midways "notify" list. Midway originally said they'd be available 12/12/12. We'll see....

I killed two deer with the 90DC from my 243 this year. I was impressed with the performance......more impressed than the results from the 80TTSX.

I'll try the Nosler bullet and hope they release other bullets in the line. Still no report from fotis on the retail price. I hope they're in line with the Speers.

Tried the 64 grain BSB when SPS had them. Shoot better than the PT out of my 9 twist 22-250. Haven't shot anything yet.

Standard rate. The picture I posted above is from a 1:14 twist remington 700

JD338 whacked this coyote from his 22-250.

Good observation sir however this is the first bullet to come out. Instead of hindering its use in standard twists by a super high BC super long bullet they chose this profile.

Remember the ogive plays way more important of a role in BC than the point.
The primary purpose of this bullet is to make the 22's more big game capable. Example---- Wyoming legalized 22 CF's for some Big game this year.

OK then if you push these at 3000-3400 fps and wish to shoot deer than I think 250-300 yards is a reasonable "long" range for a 22 on big game.
If one accepts this then BC is not an issue with this bullet.

Just my opinion.

That's good to know on the twist rate, as mine is on the slower side. Any idea on pricing?

These might come in handy if Wyoming changes the minimum caliber to .22 for antelope and deer next year. does anyone have any updates about the change?
