Beautiful morninghorizontal strips of cloudsthe sun was still below the horizon but reflecting red up into the visible strips of sky between cloud layers...cool, dead calm, threatening rain.

Set up speaker and rabbit motion decoy 30yds away from a natural blind in a brushy ravine, called coyotes for an hour...never saw a coyote, fox, bobcat, etc.

Setup must have been OK though...on two different occasions red-tailed hawks landed in the big oak tree I was leaning against, eyeballing that rabbit motion decoy and I had to shoo them off for fear theyd dive on the thing and break it...started raining so I left.

Hi Roundball,

It sounds like you had a nice setup...and it sounds like a lot of fun...hmmm, you just gave me another reason to get out there and hunt more often!
