I have a shingle shot itch that needs scratching. I have a nice, clean walnut and blue Ruger M77 MKII in .260 Remington I'd like to trade towards a new or like new Ruger No. 1 or Winchester or Browning 1885. I think the only calibers I'd be interested in for a Ruger No. 1 would be 7x57, 30-30, 308 or 30-06. I'd want a 22" barrel model, not a 26" barrel model. As for an 1885, I'd want a High Wall, not a Low Wall. And I'd want something larger than a 22-250, but smaller than a 45-70. I would prefer one with a shorter barrel, as opposed to one with a 28" barrel. I can add whatever cash is needed for the right rifle.
