They wanted God out of school, remember. They do not want any knowledge of God or morality because if there is a God, then they have to admit that the are accountable to someone. So, the natural result is the breakdown in society we have now. Liberals won't blame a sinful nature and a depraved man, it was the gun that did it. It may as well have been a rock, it really doesn't matter, they will blame anything other than the real problem. A Godless society acts like a Godless society. We turned our back on God and now we are going to live with the consequences!

I couldn't agree with you more. The liberals created this hell with their Godless agenda and now we are paying the price. Liberal policies like removing God from the schools and the public square and increasingly from the home, abortion, championing pornography and violent movies and video games as free speech, etc created monsters like the one we saw today who murdered all those little children. Those who doubt the existence of God should take an honest look at how a Godly society is rewarded versus the hell on Earth that is an atheistic society. Liberalism is the sin of pride taken to the extreme.

This country is run by Commie's , Liberals , and Godless Socialist and you can expect nothing but this type of behavior and people ask for this crap now they have to live with it. We are beyond help and i don't believe it can or will ever turn around. Our country is lost and on the road to total destruction .

Lots of folks don't like the idea that there might be 'right' and 'wrong' in the world. Oh, most accept it some of the time, but most folks would rather cherry-pick. It seems a rather liberal way of thinking to gloss over the whole concept instead.

You done said a mouthful. When society outlaws God, we're left to suffer the consequences of a Godless society.

Note that all these mass killers, almost without exception, have been in their teens or twenties. This is what a generation of political correctness, secular permissiveness, the destruction of the basic family unit, removing God, prayer, and the Ten Commandments from our schools and community institutions begets.

How ironic that, while we've forbidden God and prayer to be mentioned in our schools, He is the first one everyone turns to for comfort and understanding when evil like this strikes another school.

Consider also that, while children are not allowed to read the Bible in school, criminals are encouraged to read it in prison.

Who gets to define evil if God is removed from politics?

There is no way I'm buying that God is petty enough to say "oh,you kicked me out of the school's so now I'm going to let people kill your kids". I agree,people reap what they sow, but I am NOT going to blame God for letting this happen,all beacuse people banned prayer in school and it hurt his feelings!

There's evil people out there,they do evil chit! A normal mind can't begin to understand it,and there's no easy answer to solving it,that I can see.

Nailed it. You won't find a stronger supporter of the First Amendment, particularly the freedom of religion aspects, than I am (you can read about the persecution of Baptists in Europe and even in the U.S. through the early 1800s to get an idea of why I think government establishment of religion is so bad). However, there is enough common ground for 95+% of the people that an acknowledgement of a Higher Power and of morality can and should be in the classroom. For the other 5%, due respect with appropriate sensitivity for their difference of opinion can be noted, and those kids can even be excused if they/their parents want them to be. I'm not talking about teaching specific of theology or anything like that. If somebody is opposed to teaching students that most Americans think there is a higher power called God and that most Americans believe that the teachings of the 10 Commandments are important, then those opposed can bring it up with school officials, but it would be rare for people to have any problem with a general non-sectarian treatment of accountability to God and that there are expectations for proper behavior, like those listed in the 10 Commandments. I'm talking about an approach that would be sensitive to the multitude of beliefs and that even people who aren't spiritual descendants of Moses (e.g., Hindus and Buddhists) would be on board for.

The endorsement of Secular Humanism by the courts and subsequently in the classroom is what has brought us to the sad, pathetic place we are today. In fact, I would argue government endorsement of Secular Humanism violates the First Amendment - it is NOT neutral on religious freedom as it has been implemented in schools, and we're seeing that Secular Humanism is not a harmless philosophy because of its harmful side effects.
