Darn Mayans. Ended up having to blow snow. Glad I didn't max out the credit cards!
We ended up with only 8". Middleton (Near Madison) was the winner with 19.5".
my snowblower is a Yamaha 660 with a plow on it...funny thing tho...when I have the plow mounted it never snows My son out in OR just bought a 660. Don't think his has a plow though.

I don't think his articulates left/right but it moves up and down with the winch. The plow is big, too big for a wheeler IMO.

My plow is a little bit wider than my Grizzly...also uses the winch.

Every winter I toss around the idea of getting a plow for my wheeler. I have a cub cadet 2186 with a 42" blower on the front. The mower deck is wore out so its strictly a blower tractor now. I have a cab for it. Just need to modify it because my homemade weight box is in the way for where it mounts in the rear of the tractor. I really need to get that cab on because beer freezes way too fast in the wide open.

Uncle Gene update. I went and seen him last night after work. He was moved across town to the rehab facility. He is in a really nice room and they took him off the meds that made him so goofy. Strange thing is though, everything that he did in his hallucinations or whatever they were are so real to him still that he kept asking me if they were true or not. He said its so real to him that he can't tell reality from what he thinks happened in the week he was on those meds. He told me lots of stories of everything he did that week. Most of them really bad experiences. I assured him that none of it happened and he is not in all the trouble that he thinks he got into while fishing up on Lake of the Woods. His pickup is not all smashed up and he didn't sleep on top of the chairs and barstools at zorbaz pizza resteraunt while waiting for his DUI class to start. Really strange stuff because Uncle Gene has never been in trouble in his life but he sure thought he was in deep. He told me that he didn't even feel like trying anymore because he knew the trouble that awaited him when he got out of the hospital. My question is why in the HELL would they put him on that crap if thats what it does to people?! OH and he wiggled his right pointer finger for me!

Kinda smart assy, but man is it cold out. I wasn't kidding. I had to work outside the last few days and I've not been that cold in a long long time.
Glad to hear Uncle Gene is doing better. The meds are sometimes worse than the sickness. When I had a staph infection in 08, the meds made me sicker than anytime during the infection or the surgeries. It was nasty.
The Doc's cut my Grandpa Bud's meds in half, then 1/2'd the doseages. He said he's not felt this good in years. It's all about getting them right.

good to hear Gene is improving! got company here this weekend, always enjoy having Kendra's family here, but I was allowed a pass to go sit in the muzzleloader blind this morning so with coffee brewing, people sleeping throughout the house, I am getting ready slow and quiet. supposed to be in 20's and 30's today with wind dying down this morning, should be a good sit.

saw lots, jumped a doe at 20 feet I snuck up on (without knowing). she trotted slowly away from me without giving me a shot. I don't do tx heart shots, so I watched and whistled and grunted and even said hey! but to no avail. had a spike buck bedded by my blind, still only have doe tags. saw TONS of pheasants and a bald eagle. had a blast just being out. got a little nippy at sunup, but I think it was still in the 20's. a beautiful first day of vacation!

We just got back from the clinic with a little boy who has strep-throat. Poor little guy looks miserable. We're going to have a lazy day here to heal up. Tomorrow is Christmas at my sisters.

He just woke up and he even looks better. Fever is gone obviously. He still has a sore throat but will for a day or so the doc said. I've already been asked if we can go drive the wheeler in the snow.
