I believe it was Brown Precision, give them a call as it seems I read somewhere they still have the molds for some of the FS style stocks. I have a 700 FS and wish I'd bought more once I found out what I had.....

One of the best OEM stocks I think Remington ever put on their rifles.

If you're talking about this one:

..., it's a Brown Precision that was made for Remington in the 80's. It weighs 18oz and is tough as nails. Highly underrated / unappreciated stock! (Shown with a Model Seven 6mm barreled action / full length bedded)

DM my stock looks like your pic but is black, has a thin Rem. logo pad but weighs 24 oz. which is the wt. of many Brown stocks I have had in the past, my 7ks stock also weighed 24 oz. are you sure on 18 oz. thanks for the info.

If your stock is black, I believe it's a Bell & Carlson which came later than the Brown stocks.

PS: Yes, 18oz!! Lighter than the Mc & Brown KS stocks.

I've got a model 7KS and inside the barrel channel it was "stamped" McMillan.
