Best flick I've seen in a while. I like movies that are based on true stories. I like boxing. And I like Rene Zellweger. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I thought the cinematography was very good, so it was a visually appealling movie. Ron Howard shows his class and talent yet again. And Russell Crowe, with all his reputed faults and character flaws, strikes me yet again as a damn good actor. Some movies we buy. My wife said she cried three times. Apparently to her that means it's good. I haven't seen it yet but I likely will.

I liked it. Typical Ron Howard however, overly gushy and everything handed to you on a platter, but still worth watching.
