http://www.all-about-moose.com/meat-pie-recipe.htmlIt's soooo good! (quote from oldest son). edit: I replace the pork in the recipe with more moose and bacon. I pre-cook the bacon and add the grease since the moose is so lean. It's a beautiful late Summer 2-3 year old bull, some of the best eating I've ever had.

We had store bought King crab, self harvested caribou tenderloin and backstrap steaks, a green salad, fruit salad, and pie ala-mode. Tomorrow we might get a realmeeal.......

A perfect day here too. About 5 inches of snow on the ground to start with, and it's been gently snowing all day. Wood in the fire, the prime rib goes on the grill in 15 minutes, Cookie is starting the rolls, and a well glass packed with snow and filled with Yukon Jack.
Gave the 5 deer out back about 25 apples and then they wandered off.
Can't get any better
