Here's a few that range from 161 to 193. All shot within a mile of each other from two stands. Got some good genetics going there in the Boreal forest of Northern Sask.
I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to hunt where I do. The sub species we have are very large, the habitat second to none and free access, as the land as it is not private but owned by the province. It's not for everyone as it is hard hunting but for those willing to "pay the price" the reward can be high. Cheers.
Nice brother! As obsessed as I am with big muley bucks. A monster canadian whitetail in a snow storm is by a wide margin at the very top of my bucket list. Nice!

kroo88, that's another thing. This all started in 1998. Since then I have only shot 8 bucks in there. All big, mature animals. The no's of deer we have are low. Winters and predators keep it that way. Sometimes the days are long on stand with sightings few and far between but as you can see the chances of seeing something XL are high.
This guy was in same stand as the big 4+4 in the previous pics in the snow. Hadn't checked my cam when I shot the big 4+4. Might have held off if I had known this brute was in there too. Heavy on the "might".
Tanglewood they do look awesome on the hoof. The moment is way too short when they finally do appear. You spend all fall prepping for the big hunt and boom its over. Oh well, only 11 more months till we do it all over again.
