If you can convince Mickey to do a Ruger Edge, I'd be in the order line immediately. They could do it if they wanted--any fiberglass stock is going to be stonger/tougher in the web than a wood stock.
What's the discounted prices going to be on the non-Edge products? Are they going up 10%? I would order a ruger edge too..I will wave any right to mcmillan's warranty..

Rick, any update on mine? Jorge: Not yet. The Augusts are just starting to trickle out. Soon, but not yet.

Love the product, but my bespoke Verney-Carron Double Rifle took less time....

I was doing some looking at the order form and have a question. Can you not get a McSwirly if you opt for edge fill? What would the difference in weight be between a standard fill and edge fill be if I went with the three patterns I'm down to: featherweight, supergrade or Sako classic?

1). EDGE stocks must have painted finish, (or unpainted gelcoat).
2). About 8 ounces.
Don't forget, EDGE come with pillars standard, so knock $26 off the price difference of about $80. More like $54.

Thanks for the clarification - wish I hadn't spent so long on the McSwirly thread though - I already have my colors picked out. Trying to decide if I could survive w/ 3-color granite.

Ordered an A-5 in 70% Black and 30% Orange for my Savage 308.
I guess my Red and Black HTG will go on the son's 308 in a few months.

Just ordered a hunters edge black with gray speckles. It was still at the discounted rate on the site when I ordered. I guess we'll see what happens.

If you can persuade to do a Ruger Advantage, I'd be in the transaction range instantly. They could do it if they wanted--any fibreglass inventory is going to be stronger/tougher in the web than a wooden inventory.
