Yes they are larger and often can take a bit of stopping Quite a thick Skin on them, 30-06 or .35 Whelen are popular calibres over the hounds Vic in Australia , is the only state you can run hounds on them

Don't know if the dogs will let you sit in the front seat though Taken in the early 90's , we hunted locally , just used to through the hounds in the car and go We had a good hunt that day with a good stag being taken
My current hounds with Bonnie (left) due in about 17-18 days to Tom in the middle Ellen ,on her back is a little ripper, Tom is real quick and gets those sambar moving along
