Hello,

A plunger I've been waiting on for a Kinetronic arrow rest came in today, and I'm wondering if someone can direct me on how to set it up.

All I really need is the picture of the thing in the proper configuration. Almost looks like it was made to mount toward the front of the bow..?

It's not secure otherwise.

I did modify a prong-style to work with fingers -- it has spring-loaded horizontal movement -- but it's far from satisfactory for use with fingers.

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Josh

I can't see that setup working ideally. From the looks of it, it is or would be stopping the plunger from doing its job.

See, this is what I'm thinking. However, Bear used to sell these together, in sets. I opted to purchase the two separately as I wanted to try something with the rest and a part I already had, first, but ended up getting the whole thing.

The only way it could possibly work leaves very minimal contact on the arrow, and really just doesn't hold it well -- though if I'm very careful to keep the arrow on the rest while shooting it, it's superior to anything else I've tried. Just seems to be something I have to finesse too much, and figured I must be doing something wrong.

Thanks!

Joshua are you trying to shoot spots or hunt?

Hey Creek,

I'll be doing both, but I need to sight it in.

I've ordered a Larry Wise Pacesetter and some Judo Points. The way the Larry Wise looks just makes all sorts of sense to me.

Thanks!

Why not go with the tried and true AAE Free Flyte Elite and a plunger? Its what I run both hunting and spot shooting.
