Yes they are larger and often can take a bit of stopping Quite a thick Skin on them, 30-06 or .35 Whelen are popular calibres over the hounds Vic in Australia , is the only state you can run hounds on them

cool pics, really would like to hunt down your way, Troy(Aussielad) and i swap hunting related reading material a couple times a year so i can get my fix......do you live in Vic part of Australia or were yah just hunting there?

Don't know if the dogs will let you sit in the front seat though Taken in the early 90's , we hunted locally , just used to through the hounds in the car and go We had a good hunt that day with a good stag being taken

My current hounds with Bonnie (left) due in about 17-18 days to Tom in the middle Ellen ,on her back is a little ripper, Tom is real quick and gets those sambar moving along Fritz with a resonable fresh water cray
