Went to the local gunshow yesterday, and a new Stainless 92FS in 9mm follered me home.
$625. out the door, with a $50. rebate from the Beretta factory.
Just bought an 84 in .380 and decided I needed it's big brother while still availble with 15 round mags.
The pistol came with two 15 rounders.
Got 7/8" for the first 3 shots at 10 yards off-hand, with the first shot dubble action.
This is the best I've ever hit with a dubble action pistol!
I know, It's only three shots, but I'm sure liking this pistol. It sure points naturally for me.
Got to shoot it more today.

Although not a fan of the big Beretta's, they are a tad big for my smallish hands, they are well made and I hope it serves you well for many moons.

T LEE,
Thanks! My hands are large and this pistol seems to fit me better than a 1911.
Glad I finally took the plunge.

I got to shoot a 40 a couple of weeks ago, before that it has been years since shooting a 9mm. They fit like gloves, and I think are one the more accurate pistolas out there.
Great choice.

Just picked up another mag. for my Beretta 92FS
Got a factory Beretta 15 rounder for $30. Thank goodness my local shop isn't gouging people.
Figured I'd better pick one up while I still can.

Congrats. I think Beretta's are great. Have owned probably three and usually had one for many years. Fabulous weapons.

now you just need night sights. I absolutely LOVE 92's..................but the front sight on an FS is integral to the slide & cannot be changed w/o milling off & putting a dovetail in; the 92A1 is the only version with a front sight that is changeable. But.......... These guys can drill the fixed front sight & install a tritium vial. Tooltech Sights MM

Tooltech Sights MM I don't believe their is enough thickness in the front sight area of a 92F slide to cut in a dovetail sight. If you must have a Beretta, one of those competition 92G's is the one to get.

They have one called a brigadier that has a dovetailed front sight.

They have one called a brigadier that has a dovetailed front sight. I think the Vertec (sp?) and the Brigadier share the same type of slide, but I'm not sure. I've seen LEO trade-in 92's that had tritium fronts also, so they are out there.

Wayne Novac can also install a front and/or front and back nightsights on a Beretta 92.
Will add one when finances allow. Virgil B

Not 100% positive, but I don't think G's are made any longer; the 92A1 has a removable front sight & is the model to get in the current line. I have both an FS & a 92A1.

Tooltech did my 92fs couldn't be happier and is a must have in my opinion. believe you are correct that the 92G is no longer made. I know there are a bunch still around new here anyways. Or I should say there was up till Dec.

I have 3 of the 9's, the M9 version, an Italian made SS with nice walnut grips and the A1 version with dovetailed front sight, accessory rail and buffered recoil. Love them. The US made M9 is the most accurate so far. Quality is said to be not as good but it is every bit as good as the two Euro ones.

I have an older Model 92S that was made in Italy that I bought brand new in 1979. It is a well made and very reliable pistol. It has the magazine release button at the bottom rear of the grip on the left side of the pistol.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

The Beretta 92 is now my favorite "winter carry" gun.
Will still pack my Kahr P9 for my light cloths "summer carry"
Both in 9MM...Nice to have options, with the same ammo.
This 92 just seems to fit my hands, and points well for me.
