I have been offered a 3yr old spike elk next year. The land owner said that for the last two years it has been a spike. It should be bigger than the cows. For same price would you shoot it or an older cow? thanks, capt david

It's behind 4200 acres of high fence, with no interior high fences. It's hardly a game farm IMHO. He put a couple of small bulls and half a dozen or so bred cows on it 5-6 years ago. He dad put several more cows, that had tags, but it's obviously not one of them. capt david

See if the owner will pay you to take it out for him then... Nothing wrong with 3 or 4 year old bull meat at all

Its livestock raised to be shot. It's a game farm. Nothing negative implied, its just what it is. Looks like elk, tastes like elk, but its not the same as elk hunting.

I found a wizard and asked him if he can remove a curse I had been living with for the last 20 years. The Wizard says, "What were the exact words that were used to put the curse on you." I say without hesitation, "I now pronounce you man and wife."

Never heard of a 3 year old bull elk still being a spike--if true, somthin ain't right with that bull........no wonder the rancher wants to get rid of those genetics.
