Still raining here a little. Drizzle, mist, whatever you want to call it.

Not icy though, pretty warm.

full blown blizzard here, outside of town the wind rages, here in town it's just a lot of small fluffy snowflakes. supposed to get 6" or so through tomorrow. I hope roads are clear in the morning, I got me a lion tag burning a hole in my pocket

I seen that on the radar and web cams. I was supposed to be about 40 miles from you on Monday afternoon to meet up with a rancher. Don't think it will happen. Going to get cold here the next few days...fifteen to twenty below.

Here too. Makes me wish I hadn't procrastinated so much on getting the cab mounted on my snow blowing tractor. Needs mods and I'm not a welder.

we're only supposed to get down to 5, but for some reason it feels really really cold when it's in the single digits. maybe I'm getting soft?

The weather forced me to drive my "good truck" to work today.

Many are advising that if I care about our fish houses, I should head up to the lake tonight...

They might be right, or they might be trying to trick me into having fun.

Unsure.

If I did go, the plow truck (good truck) would have to go with me.

Basketball practice tonight and 2 games on Saturday.

Bill, you're going to be wore out with all that basket ball playin' you're doing.

We have our "holiday celebration" tonight. Should be a hellova party since I have to buy my own drinks, appitizers, and dinner. grin

I do have this Oak,raised panel(the lock side is flat panel) change bank I made a year or two ago. laugh

It has an old Bloomington,MN PO box door for a lock.I havent ever installed the lock ,so technically, its new.I can never remember the combination, but its easily opened ,if you can see the back of the door.
I made a similar one for a friends mom, with her old po box door, and commented it was a neat little door.
She saw one at a garage sale one day ,and bought it for me.I did a cabinet job around the same time, and misfigured a set of drawer fronts.Rather than burn them,I made this out of them, put some poly on it,but never installed the door.
Dave,you listening? laugh

Wow great stuff fluff! grin

the post office box door really tkes me back, wow.

Well, me and Nate spent all night fighting mother nature on a frozen lake in a blizzard, with a 43 yr old pickup truck and a snow plow blade.

We are so lucky we decided to brave the weather because both ours and Dusty's fish houses would have been frozen in bad by tomorrow. They were both sitting in ice depressions with water up nearly high enough to come up inside the houses above the floor.

They would have been frozen down solid. They actually were freezing in as we worked to free them. We cranked them up and pullled them out with the plow truck. We are on fresh spots with both houses high and dry only 50 yds from the old spots. What a damn night. It's terrible out here. Full blown blizzard.
