Our club is holding weekly .22 rifle shoots on our indoor pistol range.
I took my Marlin out, but ',m unable to get a clearly defined sight picture through the scope. (a 3x9x32)
I figure I'm getting way too much light, so I got an old scope cap to cut a hole in. Trouble is I have no idea how big a hole, or where to cut it.
I'm hoping some-one can help me out, as what I got right now is deadly for head shooting squirell, and I don't want to change it up.

For those who are interested, I used a black plastic cover, and cut a 1/4 inche hole dead center.
It really helped, as I now have a well defined target. The gun's still good for bushytails too.
