I have a Benelli Super Black Eagle II, with a factory dipped camo finish. I may want it black now. Can the entire gun be Cerakoted over the dip???

Or should I sell it and start over?

I actually want to make it a 3-gun shotgun with, 8rnd magazine, speed slide release, etc. Bemelli is having importing problems with their new 3-gun M-2

They usually media blast it before Cerakoting...so it shouldn't make a difference if it is coated or not.

I found a wizard and asked him if he can remove a curse I had been living with for the last 20 years. The Wizard says, "What were the exact words that were used to put the curse on you." I say without hesitation, "I now pronounce you man and wife."

The dip is a vinyl coating with adhesive. It gets thin in wear areas and can scratch and chip so I can't imagine it would ale anything but a light media blast to strip it.

If the camo is in good shape and your not attached to your Benelli I bet you could get a straight up trade locally for an all black one. Hell if you were closer I would trade you.
