Does the low swing Mauser flag-type safety that operates on the left side of the shroud lock the bolt? I'm familiar with the Timney and Dayton-Triaster safeties that operate on the right side of the shroud and know that they don't lock the bolt down when on safe, but was curious if the left side swing safeties did so. Thanks in advance.

I think that it can be set up either way but don't quote me on that. Mine does not lock the bolt but I belive that my uncles does.
