i want a gun safe but have no idea where to buy. internet maybe? looking to spend 2000 - 2500.Is a box store my best option?

find a safe dealer...go to the website of the manufacturer of your choosing and use their dealer locater...personally I wouldn't use anything less than a Ft Knox.

I've been looking myself...found 2 I like. Drake Safes out of North Carolina...no website but you can google a number. Also Sturdy safe out of california...check them out

I wanted a bigger safe I found that both Sam's Club and Costco had great deals.

There is a ton of information on the Internet about the various safe options at different price points. I spent almost a year researching, narrowed it down to Sturdy and Amsec, and ended up with the Sturdy. Solid, heavy, no frills safe that is made in USA.

Yes, you can get a dandy for that money. I've looked 'em over real close and they are solid and jimmy proof. Made right here in OKC.
