Always believed the kitchen was grossly ignored on this site, glad to see you stepping up with some very nice work. I especially like your spalted maple.

"That ironwood steak found a home" Gee, I'm guessing that didn't surprise anyone.

I have a long BBQ fork & a 9" version of that fillet above ,but its 3/32" stock.Actually a 9" bld. version of the ss boning knife I have FS in the classifieds,it has no flex & the blade is wider than the fillet. I'm very tempted to finish it out with matching ironwood scales, while I have that supply,if anyone is interested

This is a butchering, slicing knife. Stabilized Koa and blade is ss,by Dexter Russell Knife Co. Nickel silver pins. It is 13-3/4" OAL,with a blade that is 8.5",3.25" of cutting edge. The blade thickness is 3/32" It came out very nice, not your ordinary chicago cutlery production knife

This is a letter opener & bottle opener. I used the cut offs from the stabilized spalted maple pictured on the knives in the beginning of the thread. The Sambar is from antler tips. These were tricky for me to make, they are pretty close diameter to parts & stag. This could be a set for someone.

Nice job on the butcher. The koa looks real nice. Just seems to go with that knife.
