Well guys I got a little inventive this AM. First I sharpend my super dupper slice and dice all to a fine edge. I had the intention of making a little salsa. So I sliced and diced up the usual stuff but that wasn't good enough I still had the urge to cut something other than my thumb. Ah ha water mellon ...looks like tomato and is juicy so in it went ,a couple slices diced up small then a bit of dew mellom and some cantalope. Well by gully this turned out down right pleasent to eat.

<br>1 medium Walla Walla sweet onion
<br>1 large real ripe tomato
<br>several garlic cloves
<br>kosher salt 2 tbl more or less
<br>1 cup cilantro
<br>1 cup ea watermellon, honey dew, cantalope

<br>Any one else do weird things with melon...no not that...cooking things.

Hulled one out and cooked a chicken in it a couple of times. Yeah, you got to use a new mellon each time. Did the same for a pork roast or two. Not bad but hardly worth the trouble either.

I don't recall any exotic mellon recipes, but in years past I've made a salsa using highbush cranberries that has been fairly popular. Haven't made it in a few years, but will have to try and get in a batch or two this fall.
