I am moving and thinking of selling a few rifles that simply don't get used. Prices include shipping to your FFL in the lower 48...AK and HI shipping can be negotiated.

Custom Remington 722 with a beautiful Maple Thumbhole Stock in 7mm-08. Original owner was a guy who shot 300 meter silhouette.
It has a reversed taper 25" stainless Hart barrel, 1 in 9" twist, with a unique crown. Trigger is set to 16 ounces and the rifle is currently a single shot with NO safety although a mag box and safety can be added with alterations to the stock. The bolt has some kind of extension added to it that I am not sure what it is for but probably has some function. The paint on this extension is peeling but otherwise this rifle is beautiful.Scope not included but can be negotiated if interested. $725 shipped.

Other pics available.

Howa 1500 270 Win with very nice Hogue overmolded stock with aluminum bedding blocks...has rubbery feel to it. $450 shipped

German K-98 (I think) 8MM Mauser, very nice wood with a LOT of engraving on receiver, sights, floor plate, etc. Probably dates back to the 1930's although I cannot verify that. Guy I bought it from said his dad brought it back from WWII. Can email many other pics to show the excellent engraving. Good shape for gun of this age but one blemish on butt stock. $725 shipped

Weatherby Mark V SLS (Steinless Laminated Sporter) in 340 Weatherby. 26" barrel that looks to have been magna-ported. Black/grey laminate stock and Talley rings and bases. There are some handling marks on the wood finish but nothing through the finish. The metal has a few small marks but is in overall good condition. I have only shot this rifle a few times and believe I have quite a bit of factory ammo that could be sold as well. Was bought as a back-up rifle to my 300 Weatherby Mag for elk hunting but I have never hunted this rifle...although it does appear someone has hunted it very little. SCOPE AND SLING ARE NO LONGER WITH THE RIFLE...JUST THE BASES AND RINGS. One box of Weatherby brand 200 grain ballistic tip ammo and 38 Weatherby brand once fired brass. $1,000 shipped to your FFL for rifle, bases, rings, ammo and brass.

Below is info from the Weatherby web site:

Weatherby Mark V SLS

The SLS (Stainless Laminate Sporter) is a rifle of uncompromising standards. All barreled action metalwork is 410 Series stainless steel (except for alloy floorplate and triggerguard assembly) with a corrosion-resistant black oxide bead blast matte blue finish. It is hand-bed to a specially laminated stock that delivers the look and feel of wood with the accuracy enhancing benefits of a laminated stock. A Pachmayr Decelerator pad rounds out this distinctive rifle.

I will tomorrow. I thought I have several closeups on my computer but can't find them. I will take several photos in the daylight so you can see the detailed engraving and put them up or can email if you send me your email. Thanks...Steve

The 870 does not have a rifled barrel. Will post more pics of the Mauser very soon. If someone wants pics of anything in particular just send me a PM with your email address. Thanks.

Holy Crap, that old 8MM Mauser is nice, if it comes back on the market I'll take it for the price quoted for the remainder of January 2013.

Yes, I believe that to be a Nazi eagle although there were a few variations. I received some info that this gun was made in 1904 or 1905 along with some other great info by a very helpful fellow campfire member. If anyone can shed any light on this gun I would certainly appreciate it.
