Same here.
Out of Africa's another goodun, but I'll watch just about anything that old enough to not have Madona or Rosi O'Donnel in it.

Ok, I know this thread is old but I consulted it tonight because I had time to watch a movie and figured y'all wouldn't steer me wrong. I saw the Searchers mentioned several times in this thread so I thought I'd give it a shot. I figured good reviews, John Wayne... it has to be awesome, right?

Wow, what a disappointment. Talk about a crappy film. Acting is piss poor, the sissy that follows John Wayne around is a pussie AND a queer (not to mention the worst actor of the bunch), way too much boring crap like the love story between the sissy and the Swedish chick, the sissy fight at the end wtf?, and my God is it LONG! Of all the westerns, even just John Wayne films, how could you recommend this one? The Searchers is a turd among classic westerns.

The best part of the entire film, by far, is when the sissy kicks that squaw out of his bed and down the hill. That was pretty hilarious.
