I busted my butt shoveling snow for the kids. My boys wanted a rink out back despite skating 3-4 times a week already. This is where I learned to play hockey.

100'x40'. Half the size of regulation. My friggen back is sore.

I called up an old Bud of mine this morning, and asked if I could load up some clay bird loads for the Boar hunt, I already had purchased some components at his direction.

Went over to his shop and loaded up my first ever shotshell loads, he has an old MEC loader, I put up 300 12 gauge 1-1/8th oz. of #7.5 shot inside Clay-Buster wads all inside Winchester AA hulls with Red Dot powder and Fiocchi 209 primers.

Was a lot of fun, but I'm less than 1/3rd there, have 700 hulls left. grin

Cut down 4 big locust trees and blocked them up. A fine young man that my wife had in her middle school class and is now close to graduating High School that has had less than an easy life and is being raised by his grandmother came out and loaded up a bunch of trap loads on my MEC's. Then we went out in the back yard and shot about a hundred rounds of 45 slowfire. He told us that he is planning on going into the Marines when he graduates. Gave him a new Case XX Marine "Kabar". Went to town and bought groceries and made steaks and tators. Sipping libation. Forgot about loading up about a face cord and filling up the wood box

Cut down and cut up a huge oak out back that broke in a wind storm.

Hate to tell you this, but Monday it'll be 50 in my neck of MI, don't know where Blue Water is but I hope your ice survives.

Monthly trip to town. Groceries, check out the gun racks at a couple of shops, benefit supper at the school & back to the reloading room. Figured it was safer there than in the living room with six giggling 10-12 year old girls having a sleepover. Funny thing is, they keep wanting to come into the shop & want to see & know about what I'm doing. Bunch of little girls curious about guns & ammo. My daughter seems to be able to pick pretty good friends.

Shot about 50 prairie dogs (86 shots). Best string was 3 in a row at 452 yards, love it when the wind isn't blowing.

Russ, where did you locate that? My ten year old grandson just made PFC in the Young Marines and that is exactly the knife he wants.

I bought it in a surplus store in Florence, Alabama about a year ago. Was in town for work and just dropped in. I can't remember the name of the place but I can call down to get a number if you want. Old boy that runs it is about 75 Sonny's Army & Navy

Went kayaking on the upper Manatee River from Rye Preserve to the dam at Lake Manatee and back. Not a cloud in the sky, temps in the 70's and low humidity. Doesn't get much better.
