Since I have too many varmint rifles and not enough scopes, I've decided to sell or trade one of my rifles. It is a Savage Model 12 FVSS in 223. Gun has the laminate stock with internal magazine and has the accu-trigger. Barrel length is 26" and has a 1-9 twist. Also has a custom muzzle brake. Not a screw on.Machined into the barrel. Round count is under 450. I have only shot hand loads through it. 27.2gr. of Varget behind a 50gr. Vmax. Overall the gun is in very good condition. A couple of marks by front swivel stud from bipod.

Trades I would be interested in are Sightron SIII 6x24 scopes with the moa reticle or Leupold VX3 or VXIII 6.5-20 or 8.5-25 with the varmint hunter reticle.

Is this not a BVSS?

No. The BVSS has the black tip on forearm. They are the same rifle other than that.

Much nicer/cleaner lines than the older BVSS stock
