As a police officer with over 20 years of service I am outraged when politicians attempt to use my safety as an excuse to erode civil rights. I'll take freedom over supposed safety every time.

I assume he has no problem with financial institutions which bankroll drug import and distribution or other gang activities. Of course everyone knows the drug trade and gang activities have nothing at all to do with violent crime. GD
