...when all the hysteria dies down and buy your primers from someone else. Just looked at their site to see another price increase on Federal 210 primers.... $55 per 1000. 210M are now $60 per 1000. Last week they were 40 something. Retailers that do this [bleep] really piss me off.

Bruno has always been there ready to scalp a shooter. I haven't bought anything from him in over 5 years.

I'll never buy anything from them again. Powder Valley lists them for $26 per 1000 and Natchez lists them for $30 per. Both of them are making a profit I'm sure.

Last time I did business with them it took forever to get my order. I don't think it was actually in stock when they advertised it (dies) and I called the order in. Never planned on buying from them again, and now I know I won't.

I often buy my stuff from a local hardware store. Considering freight, on a small order, he's not too bad. The funny thing is, he seems to work on a set markup. I don't what it is, but sometimes he'll have, say, three boxes of brand A 7mm 14o gn spitzers. one will be $27.95 one $28.25 and the other $28.95. Obviously bought at different times and prices. capt david

Never liked Bruno's...taking advantage of a situation and price gouging your customer for a few dollars says all anyone needs to know about them.

when I took a trip to KY last weekend and stopped in a local gun store. Bought same Fed 210 primer for $49. Figured it is cheaper than paying to have shipped to me. Besides this was a local mom and pop store. And at $49 this is like $13 more than was last year. So I figured I will give me local store biz nd at the same time stock up one more box.

Interesting, thanks for the heads up. I was going to order some brass from Bruno's, but after reading this thread I went a different route and ordered from 3rd Generation, who has always been good to me.

Have you tried to call them to order????....they dont answer, order online or nothing right now.
I have dealt with Lester Bruno and his 2 kid's for several years and they always find a way to nick you for an extra charge on everything. after a barrel double charge debacle I wont buy from them ever again!!!!!!!!

I will never buy from them again, bought a box off 165 gr ttsx bullets, they charged me $13.50 for shipping and $3.75 for the cardboard box that they used to ship the bullets, they called it a handling charge, what a joke.

They whacked me in a similar way for some things I bought last year. I don't recall the particulars but their price on the items I bought was very reasonable, and then shipping & handling charges floored me. Lousy way to be run a business, IMO.

I agree with you, but if you will spend a little time here on the classifieds, they will tell you that this is the honorable thing to do and getting whatever the consumer will pay is the noble, American way. I tried to no avail, to point out that gouging is gouging now matter the size of the gouger. Anything else is just class warfare and the gougers trying to defend their greedy position. frown miles

I LOVE Bruno Shooters Supply... a good friend used them alot...

they are one of MY FAVORITE COMPANIES.... TO AVOID...

I would NOT do business with them, long before they were price gouging...

a departed friend of mine, who was a Doctor, bought two 36 power Weaver Scopes from them for two target 22 Rifles he had and competed with... they were on sale.. and he never noticed his credit card receipt until way after the fact... he wasn't charged the sale price, he was charged list price... and on two scopes from another vendor and at full list price...

they ripped him off by about $350 to $400...

Its not gouging, as gouging is a liberal fallacy.

That being said, it is [bleep]. Capitalism, but [bleep] regardless.
