The Swarovski and Vortex bigs eyes I had in the past came with a sweet adapter to use with a tripod that screw on but the Leica's do not accept that type, what are folks using for these?

Here are a couple of choices. If you do a search, Leica # 42220 is a universal binocular mount with a rubber strap.
Also Nikon makes the Binoc u mount, # 820. I have this one and is a universal mount, uses velcro straps.
The one mentioned above is for a small rangefinder, not for a heavy binocular.

Nope, it's for a Leica LRF, and it works just fine with my Bushnell Fusion 10x42. It's very stout.
EDITE: The company that sells that mount recommended it to me for binos...

Jordan:
That one sounds good, but if it has to fit around a big 50-58 mm binocular over 40 oz. that would be the question.
Stability is important, and Leica recommends the one I referred to above.

To be honest, the mount that I linked to looks far more beefy and stout than the Leica mount. The one I linked to is made in the USA of steel with a foam-padded bed for the bino to sit on, with a velcro strap that's plenty big to go around my 42mm binos. I would suspect it'd have no trouble going around larger binos, either.
I have been VERY impressed, considering the price.

The outdoorsmans is what I would use. My brother has that mount on his Leicas.
Too close for irons, switching to scope...
