Anyone with much experience on these rascals. I like the combination of features but I've always been a Leupold guy. If Leupold put a regular duplex in their 4x rimfire it would be a no brainer, but I'm not crazy about the idea of the fine duplex. Will be going on an ultralight 30-30 if it matters.

I have the 2 x 7 version on a pair of 30/30s...
well balanced scope, and even tho it is a rimfire scope, it is built to the same toughness as their regular scopes.. eg their V9.. or straight K4 or K6 scopes...
they have clear optics also...I've had mine for better than 10 yrs with no hiccups...
I did have a 4 power rimfire one on a 30/06 for a while and it held up nicely... gave it to a forum member's son, who wanted a scope for a 30/30...

I have one of these on a Ruger 77-22 with aftermarket HB and it makes for a great combo for the practice and plinking I do with the 22. Surprisingly good build quality and optics
For the money, hard to beat on a working 22!

Have only used on rimfires, but a good scope. The 2-7x rimfire is very good as well and the 3-9 AO rimfire is as good or better than the Leupold 3-9 EFR rimfire scope, and the Weaver has a better duplex than the Leupold's fine duplex (at least to me). Good Luck, Ted
