Don't do it Ryan, you will regret it later. Carrying it and getting a few scratches is just character.

Thanks J, I think I will keep it, I still owe you a knife for a sheath, it woulda come way sooner, but I had a LOT of deer to process this year. for any chickenbuck friends out there who are looking for a place to come shoot deer out west, I might have a place for you. no Trophies, but a great meat hunt and a good time.

Well it was a good weekend. I won the 1967-1969 class in Lake Park at the old timers run. The club who sponsors it took pics of my sled alone cuz they are going to put it on their plaques and buttons for it next year. Super excited!
I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

Thanks Ryan but like we spoke about last night, you just hang on to that 1911. I'll find one soon enough.
Muffy that is pretty cool and that sled look like its mint.

Sounds like something I'd like. It would be nice to get a group together, put faces with names and spend a few days chasing the fuzzy wind chimes! Ron

I have been to the Eelpout Festival a couple times. It is a blast! You see all kinds of stuff there from people sitting in shorts dangling their feet in the water while they fish, to a guy stripping down to his one piece long underwear to Neil Diamond on top of the Eelcatraz bus. One of the big party tents had newbies (who had never been to the poutfest before) take a shot from a frozen pouts mouth. Some people were actually stupid enough to say they had never been there before. Yuck! Sounds like fun! Michigan has something similar called Tip-up Town. It's considered a successful event if the number of arrests is larger than the number of sleds and quads and riders that go through the thin spots in the ice.
4 out of 5 Great Lakes prefer Michigan.

Well folks, it has been a busy past week or two. Spent a week in Scottsdale for business meetings. By golly, their weather was warmer than here. Hard to imagine I know. I went for a run and was commenting to my running mate that it is too hot (prolly 70) and an old guy in a jacket heard me. Man, the look I got....
Now I am working on our Pheasants Forever banquet. If anyone is going to be in the Alexandria area Feb 23rd, let me know!

Had to get the snow rake out and clear off part of the roof this morning. There was close to 2' feet of snow. Supposed get 3 - 4 inches of snow starting this afternoon.
