I have been using Rooster Lab products for many years both Zambini, HVR and Rooster Jacket with good results. I am wondering if there are any better products out there?

I use Rooster Jacket lube and Lee Liquid ALOX. The Rooster Jacket dries harder and looks better, but I think that ALOX fills in the lube channels better. I get no leading with either one with reasonable loads.
I like Rooster Jacket for lubing bullets prior to running them through sizing dies, and then ALOX as the final lube application.

It's a moot point. Rooster bullet lube is no more... http://www.roosterlabs.com/products.html

Thank you for the update. I had no idea that Rooster Products were discontinued. I guess I will have to find a replacement. Any recomendations?

That's too bad. I messed with some Rooster lubes years ago and found them to be excellent. The stuff I tried was pretty hard and necessitated a heater to be jerry rigged onto my sizer, which was my only complaint. In all honesty I switched back to good old Javelina 50/50 Alox/beeswax, as I have after every experimentation over the years. Now I plan on just sticking with it and be done with it. Note to: I don't load high velocity lead in anything anymore so it may not apply to everybody.

Thank you for the information on the Javelina 50/50. Is it sold commercially?

Looks like Javelina has been been discontinued, too.

Huh. Figures. I hope what I have lasts me the rest of my life then!
Note: S&S Firearms claims to have it in stock.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

+1 I make most of my own lubes as well, but I use a couple of his also. The Xlox is basically the same as Alox but around 50% cheaper.

I have also used Javilina 50/50 with good results. Several sell that NRA formula including RCBS and Lyman. It is much softer than Rooster and requires no heat. It's messier but lubes well. It is all I use now.
