The LDA is hammer-fired. This Colt ain't.
Check out the video, there's a hammer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkwokQWaDTA

I really dont know what market theyre going after. I really dont see that as a Law Enforcement pistol. I would think a pistol made for law enforcement would have synthetic grips, a changeable backstrap, much better sights, shorter barrel, etc. I really dont know what audience theyre trying to reach???

After watching the video, it looks like it uses a MIM hammer but unlike the PO LDA, this seems to have second strike capability. I think their target market is civilian salesbut Ill be darned if I know who they think theyre going to sell it to? The DAO system in the New Agent makes some sense, but this pistol just kinda boggles. It looks well made, doesnt appear to be the abomination that the Double Eagle was.

Yeah, it's really weird.

Now if they did something like the .45 ACP 1903 that Cylinder & Slide did, now that would be sumthin!!

Sure enough - I stand corrected. Odd that on the 1991 chart page in the "hammer" row under the DAO column, it states "N/A".

Seriously...a slick-slide and bobbed hammer full-size .45 acp for concealed carry? Suitable for those who never stopped liking and using the DA revolver?

I bet you there's a market for that.

....If it isn't fragile, like the LDA.

Not too far removed from this concept.

TP45

And those seem to be selling.
