looking for cheap savage for a build project. i don't care about the chambering or condition. stevens 200 are fine too.
have about $200 put aside for this. let me know what you have.

someone on here offered me a 7mm mag savage before...
i'd take that or whatever other savage you guys got bangin around in your closet...

You should be a little picky. You will have another 50 or so invested if you have to change the bolt head.
Unless, of course you find a used one.

let me think on it. $250 turns into $300+ pretty fast when i pay to ship and my ffl guy adds $25, and i can get a $300 savage around here.
maybe i'm going about this the wrong way

You should be able to pick up a new Savage Axis for about $250 if you dont find what your looking for used.
