Well I got to try out 20 shots at 500 meters on steel. They shot REALLY good! I used the same dope as the 139 scenars and they shot to the same point of impact. I expect them to shoot flatter as the distance increases.

I loaded 42.6grs H4350
Remington brass
Tula LRM primer
2.130" BTO

Down loading a picture of the plate...

The last ten shots from prone with bipod and rear bag. My spotter bet me lunch I couldn't hit his head with the last five shots.....grin!

I was getting about 6" of drift. My friend was getting 9-10" with his .308 shooting 155 scenars at 2950fps.

Next step is to air them out at 1000+.

Are you asking about COAL? If so, easily. 2.130" BTO = 2.800" COAL with the 136gr scenar. All of my rifles run AI mags that allow 2.900 max COAL. If I needed more I can remove the front plate in the mag to accept 3.000" max cartridge length.

Do you sort your brass or do any prep?

Good shooting.

Nice shooting, are these available anywhere as of yet?

And that Sinclair hex nut thingy is one of the more useful pieces of equipment I've bought for loading.

Thanks, Pat.

Those bullets sure look promising! I'm looking forward to seeing what they do a little farther out, especially compared to the 139 Scenar and 130 VLD/JLK...

I didn't on that 50 pieces of Remington, except burr and chamfer. I've had fair luck with Remington shooting well in my GAP rifles...plus, I don't mind losing it as bad as Lapua.

Don't know exactly, but I'm betting really close to 2900fps. My 139 load uses 42.5grs H4350, for 2850fps. This 136 is 42.6grs of same....3 grains less bullet weight, should be able to get 2900ish. Bolt lift was butter and the primers look clean and round.

That pic answered a question for me about Tula primers.
